Diploma Candidate Information
Valid for life, the French Health Diploma is aimed at all those who practice a medical profession and who need to work and communicate in French with patients, their families, as well as with nursing and medical staff.
It attests to your ability to use French effectively, whether orally or in writing, in everyday professional communication situations, by offering activities as close as possible to professional reality:
- Complete a medical file, design a prevention support, complete a care protocol, or write a prevention note on health risks
- Explain a medical procedure or speak on a public health topic to a non-specialist audience
The exam is conducted on a computer, followed by an oral interview with an examiner.
Current information on registration and examination conditions, as well as specific Washington University policies and procedures, can be discussed with the personnel listed above and found on the Les Francais Des Affaires website.
