Program Requirements

  • Total Units Required: 15
  • Grade Requirement: Classics follows the Arts & Sciences minimum grade requirement of C– or better for courses that apply to the minor.

Courses that count toward the major may include CLASSICS 1000-4999, GREEK 1000-4999, or LATIN 1000-2999, as well as approved interdisciplinary courses. See the Courses tab on the Classics page for a complete list.

Advanced Language Courses

Of the 9 remaining units, at least 3 units must be in Greek or Latin at the 3000 level or above. 

Additional Information

Students may apply up to a maximum number of 6 credits to their minor earned through study abroad and/or transfer credits.
